Websites are great at providing helpful tips and instructions for just about everything. If you’re like me, though, you often need those same tips when you aren’t near your computer, or when you don’t have internet access. That’s why I’ve just introduced a new site: SwiftTips.com, which has helpful instructions laid out on attractive printable tip sheets that you can reuse or tape up in important places as well as share on social networks such as Pinterest or Facebook.
If you like to cook or bake, you probably don’t want your computer or smart phone on the counter where it can get ruined. Fortunately, you can just print out the SwiftTips.com kitchen reference charts and keep them in cookbooks or inside cupboard doors. These charts provide quick, illustrated guides for setting a table, cooking with a crockpot, and choosing the correct oven temperature. There are also conversion charts for easily exchanging gallons for quarts for pints, or cups for tablespoons for teaspoons.
Classrooms are another place where it’s handy to have a tip sheet on hand. I have plenty of academic classroom charts for converting GPAs, measurements, metrics, fractions, and decimals. Math and science students can punch holes in these and keep them in a binder, while teachers can put them up on the walls.
Finally, there are plenty of personal guides for any everyday troubleshooting you may encounter. These include everything from cleaning guides for laundry and hardwood floors to conversion charts for shoes, hats, and clothes to tips on how to use a manual camera. There are also mechanical guides for car owners who need to jump a battery or check their oil.
Overall, there are 41 templates at this new site, and all are available to download and print for free as a PDF file. If you want them to last longer, I recommend laminating them, or printing them out on cardstock.
