New SwiftTips to Print and Pin

by Kay on December 18, 2014

The internet has become a great way to learn new things and find instructions for just about everything. Unfortunately, in an emergency, while cleaning, or during a baking session, you might not have or want your computer around. That’s why I have a new category and 42 new printable instruction sheets that can be printed out and taped up in important locations for quick, helpful tips at any time. Or, share on Pinterest so others can use them!

During an emergency, a phone call or trip to the internet is likely to waste time you don’t have. But if you have the new safety reference charts already printed out and prominently displayed, you can keep people calm and safe during fires and earthquakes. There are also emergency guides for CPR and the use of fire extinguishers.

If you’re new to doing your own laundry or just want to get it right this time, I have plenty of new clothing charts that feature illustrations of the proper way to tie a bowtie, iron a collared shirt, or fold a pair of pants so they don’t get wrinkled. If you prefer making your own clothes, I also have fabric width and crochet hook conversion charts.

Finally, there are plenty of personal guides for any activity or fast answer you need. Offices will like having the time zone and calendar abbreviation conversion charts, while kids will enjoy the origami, paper airplane, and juggling guides. There’s also a chart for the proper way to fold a diaper, but I doubt anyone will enjoy that.

Overall, there are more than 120 printable guides at SwiftTips.com, and all are available to download and print for free as a PDF file. Before putting them up, I recommend printing them on cardstock or laminating them for maximum durability.
