InstantMonologues.com continues to grow, and with my new batch of 25 printable monologues, I have nearly 100 classic and original monologues to offer, all of which are free to use and royalty-free.
My new batch includes comedic monologues for both men and women. There are excerpts from Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest, Ben Jonson’s Volpone, and even the lyrics of a song in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirate of Penzance. Original comedic monologues include a burned-out rock star, a nervous young adult, and a man stranded on a desert island.
The more dramatic monologues cover a lot of classic examples, including Shakespeare’s King Richard III, Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex, and Euripides’ Medea. Original material includes musings from a funeral director on the brevity of life, a little girl who pretends to have a pet unicorn, and a man who’s dying of cancer.
All 96 monologues at InstantMonologues.com are available to download and print for free as a PDF or DOC. Each one has been specially formatted to read like a script page.
