Artists have it rough. Planning a film or lecture or concert can involve a lot of interactions and transactions with other people. That’s why I have new printable contracts, quite a few of which center around permissions and liability.
The new permission contracts are useful for any project, class, or creative endeavor that uses someone else’s property. These include a permission to film on someone’s property, an agreement to let you play or perform someone’s music, a modeling contract, a contract for an extra in a movie, and even one releasing someone’s story for an oral history.
Other contracts cover standard use for businesses and rentals. There are bills of sale, car rental forms, vehicle releases, and roommate release agreements. Teachers and parents can use the child forms as student contracts for performance, behavior, and sports and conduct.
There are 350 contracts available for jobs, freelancing, sales, warranties, medical directives, and real estate. These should be used for informational purposes and not as substitutes for official legal advice. Each template can be downloaded and edited as a customizable DOC file, or copied and pasted directly from the site.
