Ah, Labor Day! The day that Americans celebrate hard work by lounging around and eating hot dogs with our friends. Labor Day also helps us transition out of summer and into the fall school season. I have a few printables from FreePrintable.net to make the holiday more fun.
This year, Labor Day falls on Monday, September 7. While most businesses aren’t open that day, if yours is, you might want to consider celebrating your employees along with the holiday. There’s a great Labor Day certificate at FreePrintableCertificates.net that shows a proud union waving American flags. It looks nice and official with a blue border, and it’s free to download and print as a PDF (an editable DOC is $5).
Since most people end up at BBQs on Labor Day, a great place to head is FreePrintableRecipeCards.net, which has printable recipe cards decorated with sumptuous pictures of dishes, drinks, and desserts. Use them to swap your favorite recipes or just to share with others. Each one is free as a PDF or $7 for customizable version.
If you’re the one planning the big gathering this year, a handy template is my Labor Day flyer from PrintableFlyerTemplates.net. It’s illustrated with a picture of a family at a picnic, and red-and-blue pennants fly overhead. It also has space to fill in date and location details. All flyers are free to print and edit as a DOC or PDF.
As always, there’s something for the kids too at FreePrintableColoringPages.net In this case the coloring pages include occupations of all types, such as farmers, police officers, and fire fighters. All are free to print as a PNG.
Happy Labor Day, and Happy Printing!
