Resignation Letter Samples

by Kay on October 25, 2016

I’ve got lots of sample letters for the tough situations when you need to quit a job, step down from a volunteer position, or resign another role. You’ll find 183 resignation letter templates to download, edit, and print for free at ResignationLetters.biz.

I recommend that you use these templates as a starting point to fine-tune the wording of a letter that suits your specific situation.

The 24 new resignation letters include examples for resigning specific jobs or leaving a church or volunteer position.

There’s also several education resignation letters, including letters from teachers, interns, school board members, and parents who need to transfer a child out of a school.

Other new letters cover situations such as: the length of notice, whether you’ll train your replacement, if you might return to a job, and circumstances such as health or pregnancy. There are also new letters for withdrawing a job, leaving a contract position, and resigning as someone’s attorney.

I’ve also decided to add a few negative resignation letters for those occasional situations where, against most conventional advice, you just have to address the elephant in the room. There are now letter templates for resigning from political office or another role because of personal issues, ethics, or a scandal.

The ResignationLetters.biz site also has several articles with tips on how to leave a job, along with related topics.
