Reference Letter Templates

New reference letter templates have been added to the websites CharacterReferenceLetters.com and LettersOfRecommendation.net.

These recommendation letters go beyond job-hunting letter templates to cover personal and legal situations as well. There are variations for all kinds of situations in which a person is willing to vouch for another person or entity, and all of the sample letters can be downloaded and customized for free.

There are hundreds of letter templates from which to choose. LettersOfRecommendation.net is home to many letters designed for professional and academic situations. At CharacterReferenceLetters.com, the templates cover employment, legal matters (such as adoption or court proceedings), and much more. The sites now have testimonial templates, brief online references, and a selection of articles with tips on how to write or customize a letter.

The letters are a great starting point for an employer, friend, or anyone attesting to job-worthiness or “good moral character.” Some letters vouch for a couples counselor, a dating site, or a midwife. There’s even a general fill-in-the-blanks reference letter.

The new CharacterReferenceLetters.com letters for legal matters cover criminal offenses, an appeal to restore a driver’s license, divorces, sobriety and more. New articles at the site speak to etiquette, opening and closing statements and do’s and don’ts.

At LettersOfRecommendation.net, the letters cover immigration, domestic help, school admissions, adoption, housing, and, of course, employment.

There are new employment reference letter templates for a high school job and for a teacher as well as school recommendation letters from a dean and others.

You’ll also find new commendation and nomination letters, including for: board member, boss of the year, employee of the month, community service, customer service and valedictorian. Other letters address housing tenancy, a karate teacher, a recruiter and a bank.

The newest articles at LettersOfRecommendation.net deal with how to write a nomination, keywords and whom to ask for an academic recommendation.

Everything at the sites is free for personal and individual business use. Download a template in editable DOC (Microsoft Word) format, or just cut and paste the text.

These two sites complment the resume templates and cover letters at InstantResumeTemplates.com and CoverLetterExamples.net.
