My site LetterOfHardship.net has 24 new letter templates with sample wording for difficult financial, personal and legal situations.
The new hardship letters provide a jump-start in what can be very stressful situations.
The example text can be typed over and adjusted as needed. The new templates include suggested wording for medical matters including an insurance appeal, sick leave hours donation and the threat of insurance cancellation.
Other new letters relate to academics, such as student loan deferment, grade appeals, college admission denials and academic probation appeals.
I’ve also added new letters related to criminal and civil court proceedings as well as immigration issues. Others address leniency in sentencing due to hardship. Four new letters are for people seeking to defer jury duty for legitimate hardships such as breastfeeding, being a schoolteacher or having transportation issues.
LetterOfHardship.net also has articles with tips on writing various types of hardship letters ranging from mortgage refinancing to home rentals.
The letters can be downloaded in DOC format, or simply cut and paste the text directly from the web page. They’re all free to download, customize and print.
