In my family, my wife is in charge of the keeping of the genealogy. She really enjoys the research, and has traced our families’ paths backward quite a ways. There are lots of family history fans out there, especially judging from the popularity of my recent additions to FamilyTreeTemplates.net.
There are 15 new printable family trees, along with genealogy charts and forms. Site users had requested a tree with room for more siblings, so I’ve added another of those. Plus, there’s a new 6-generation fan-style family tree, a cousin chart, a pedigree chart, a descendant chart, and new full-color illustrated family trees for children (My favorite is the dinosaur family tree).
The genealogy forms include: a correspondence log (to record research-related communication), a library research checklist, a tracker for online research, a family unit history page, and more.
All of the family trees and charts are free to download and print in PDF form, or pay just $4 for a DOC version you can edit in Microsoft Word, typing in names, dates, and so on. (The fan charts are available in only free PDF form.)
