Compare Paper Sizes on Handy Website

by Kay on July 6, 2018

What? Another new website? My latest addition to the family is PaperSizeReference.com, a site that instantly displays paper sizes and visually compares sizes with one another. Just choose a paper size from the drop-down menu to see the size overlaid on a letter-size sheet.

PaperSizeReference.com is a convenient resource for graphic designers, crafters, or anyone who does business internationally. It’s also a nice complement to PrintablePaper.net, my printable paper site, and PrintablePlanners.net, my printable planners site.

The site also displays the standard and dimensions of the width and height in both millimeters and inches. The standards include: American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Architects Standard (Arch), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), United Kingdom (UK), and United States (US).

For example, if you select A5 paper, you’ll see that it’s ISO standard and its dimensions are 148mm by 210 mm or 5.8 inches by 8.3 inches. Then, they can click to compare A5 paper to any of the dozens of paper sizes covered at PaperSizeReference.com.

Beyond the FreePrintable.net printables, other helpful sites I’ve developed in the last year include WhatIsThepH.com for seeing the pH of various acids, bases and common substances. Plus, there are several math resources: AsAFraction.com for fractions, AsAPercent.com for percentages and SimplifyFractions.com for simplifying fractions.
