Fourth of July is an exciting holiday that involves a lot of social interaction and festivities. That usually means quite a bit of preparation, decoration, games and activities. Fortunately, a number of sites from the FreePrintable.net family have every contingency covered.

Whether it’s for a barbecue, a family gathering, or a classroom party, the Independence Day banners at PrintableBanners.net make for a festive atmosphere. They can be downloaded and printed for free as PDFs and they bear slogans such as “Let Freedom Ring!” “God Bless America” and “Happy 4th of July” in a number of different colors.

Another useful printable for parties is the July Fourth recipe card decorated with a sparkling firecracker at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net. Use it for cookouts or to share a special patriotic treat. Available in several sizes and lined or unlined, it is also free to download and print as a PDF, or $7 for a customizable DOC version.

A picture of the American flag and some of the founding fathers can be found on the patriotic business cards for firework stands and gift shops at FreePrintableBusinessCards.net. The card is available for free as a DOC file with a small URL at the bottom of the card, or for $3 with no URL.

A great way to honor those in the service is with the service certificates found at FreePrintableCertificates.net. There are flag designs for certificates of achievements and yellow ribbons for supporting the troops overseas. All certificates are free as PDFs and $5 for DOC versions that can be edited in a word processor.

Finally, for quiet kid activities, there are a dozen the holiday coloring pages at FreePrintableColoringPages.net. These include colorable pictures of flags, eagles, fireworks and patriotic children. They are all available for free as PNG files.
