I’ve expanded my website ObituaryHelp.net to offer just only sample obituaries but also funeral program templates.
This site has dozens of prompts for wording obituaries, plus articles with tips how to write an obit. The goal of ObituaryHelp.net is to make it easier to memorialize someone’s life in a meaningful way while sharing details about planned services.
There are two new categories at ObituaryHelp.net. I’ve added templates for writing death notices, which are usually shorter and less personal than an obituary. These samples contain prompts to add the facts of someone’s death, services, donation requests, and other basic details. You’ll also find invitation templates for funerals, memorials, wakes, and other services both public and private.
Most of the obituary templates, programs, and other designs are intended be downloaded in editable DOC (Microsoft Word) format and then customized before printing.
ObituaryHelp.net now has nearly 70 templates, forms and program layouts at the site, all free for personal use.
