St. Patrick’s Day Printables

by Kay on March 8, 2013

“Dia dhuit” from the sites! That’s “Hello!” in Irish Gaelic, and it is most appropriate, as St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner. I have a lot of St. Paddy’s-themed printables at my various websites. Get everything from fax covers to coloring pages and start celebrating!
If you’re in a coloring mood, I hope you have a large supply of the color green. There are 28 free St. Patrick’s Day coloring pages available at, all depicting shamrocks, leprechauns, pots of gold, frogs and even some green beer (for adults!) Each picture can be downloaded and printed for free as a PNG file.
For fun in the office, send a fax with a St. Patrick’s Day fax cover depicting St. Patrick sending a snake through a fax machine from Or, for a more personal touch, send someone a St. Patrick’s Day greeting card with a picture of a football player from If you’re thinking of giving a gift this holiday, consider a Saint Patrick gift tag featuring a smiling leprechaun set against a clover background at Each of these printables is available for free as a PDF or DOC. A customizable version of the greeting card can be purchased for $4 and edited in a word processing program.

There are new St. Patrick’s Day writing prompts at this year. Designed for middle school and elementary school students, they blend creative writing with narrative prompts and how-to instructions that will spark the imagination in writers of any age. The prompts are available to download, edit and print as free DOC files.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day, Sláinte, and Happy Printing!
