Chances are you know someone who’s graduating from something this month. Whether it’s high school, college, grad school, or a karate class, it’s nice to give them a little something to show your support, pride, and encouragement. That’s why I have everything from certificates to greeting cards to thank you letters at my FreePrintable.net websites.

There are more than 20 diplomas for preschool, kindergarten, physical therapy, homeschool, high school graduations, and more at FreePrintableCertificates.net. If you want to celebrate your child’s graduation from any grade, you can choose from the promotion certificates for every year between 1st and 12th grade. The styles range from formal and elegant to childish and cute. They are available to download and print for free as a PDF. Users who would like to type directly into the template can opt for a $5 DOC file that can be customized in a word processor.

If you’ve purchased a gift for your recent grad, a nice addition is a graduation gift tag from FreePrintableGiftTags.net. These printable gift tags feature cartoon pictures of cute, happy graduates wearing cap and gown or holding diplomas. There’s also a tag featuring a cross and cap for religious gifts and even a robot with a diploma and mortarboard. They are all available for free as both a PDF and an editable DOC file, where you can type names in rather than writing them.

Cute and fun graduation greeting cards for students can be found at FreePrintableGreetingCards.net. These congratulatory cards that urge students toward new adventures and success feature the traditional cap and gown as well as an excited new grad and even a happy panda. They can be printed for free as a PDF or customized as a $4 DOC.

Finally, graduates can respond to their family and friends’ generosity with the sample thank you letters found at ThankYouLetter.ws. Students can get tips and launch points for their own thank you notes with the templates for gifts, money and heirlooms. Each one is free to download and edit in a word processor.

Graduation from high school isn’t the only important academic event in a young student’s life. It can be just as important for parents and teachers to acknowledge children who are graduating from 1st to 2nd grade or from grade school to middle school. That’s why I’ve added 24 new school certificates, as well as 16 band and choir certificates.

Honoring a student’s hard work and effort is easy and fun with the new achievement certificates. There are two for every grade: One that celebrates a promotion and one that acknowledges academic success. Each one is decorated differently, but all feature an attractive background or graphic and the grade letter posted in the top corner.

Great for bands, choirs and glee clubs, the new music certificates I’ve added feature graphics of instruments and music notes. There are specific templates for mandolins, baritone saxophones and even a glockenspiel. Even the drum majors and majorettes are called out and honored for those who are part of the marching band.

I have 1,200 certificates and 36 categories at FreePrintableCertificates.net for academic, business, and personal occasions. They’re all available to download and print for free as a PDF. An editable DOC file is also offered for $5.

You can get the whole certificate collection on a set of CDs for only $69.

I’m introducing a different type of chart to FamilyTreeTemplates.net this month with my new bowtie family trees, which are a really cool format for recording one’s ancestry. Similar to a fan chart, this style has forms for 7, 6, 5 and 4 generations.

Along with the new family trees, I’ve also added ancestry charts that focus on specific countries of origin. Each family tree for American, Greek, South African, Chinese, Italian, Spanish and Irish lineages features a colorful picture of the country’s national flag. It’s a great way to celebrate your heritage and learn more about your ancestors.

For those planning a wedding or looking for a nice gift or activity for the reception, I’ve added several thumbprint family trees. These are pretty pictures of trees with bare branches and the names of the married couple. Family members and friends can then put their thumbprints on as “leaves” in different colors, making a nice memento the bride and groom can frame and keep forever.

Finally, there are several ancestor sheets for more filling in more detailed information, including two genealogy charts that are Bible-style for a husband and a wife. These include spaces for filling in spousal information as well as birth dates.

Overall, there are more than 100 forms at FamilyTreeTemplates.net, including photo forms, kid trees, fan charts and research forms for dedicated genealogists. All forms can be printed and filled in as a free PDF file. In some cases, a $4 version is available that can be edited in a word processing program.

If there’s one problem with planning a wedding, it’s that there’s always an important matter that slips through the cracks. The 20 new wedding planner pages at PrintableWeddingPlanner.com can help frazzled brides and grooms-to-be from letting that happen.

Printable wedding checklists now include a ceremony program template, a vendor payment plan, a photographer form for an engagement shoot and a lodging plan for destination weddings.

The new wedding worksheets cover more than just the wedding ceremony and reception. Now there’s a bridal shower planner, a bridal shower guest list, a gift registry organizer and a honeymoon comparison planner.

The wedding planner pages at PrintableWeddingPlanner.com are designed to be printed and kept in a three-ring binder. They all share the same color scheme and design, and have markers for a three-hole punch. Altogether, this packet can help couples plan everything from timelines to music playlists to budget division to venue comparison. Each page is available as a free PDF or a $7 DOC file that can be edited in a word processor before printing. Both file types and all pages are available in one easy download with the $14 wedding planner collection.
